Elizabeth Meyer, Master’s student intern, MSN, RN

Life can be hard. Really hard. Every day we are presented with challenges, struggles, decisions, and responsibilities. Sometimes we do really well with them… other times we need help. Because you are here visiting me on this page, you may be in a season of needing that help. I want you to know that takes bravery and courage, and you don’t have to figure it out all alone.

My passion is to help you find restoration, identity, and purpose in your life by helping you walk in healing, freedom and hope. In our time together, we’ll explore your thoughts and feelings, and work to find solutions and answers to your problems. Your story is your own and it is hugely unique. I value and honor that, and will create a warm, understanding, and compassionate environment where we can process and share safely together.

I love working with adolescents ages 11+, and their families. I am currently a Master’s level practicum student in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at The King’s University. I hold Bachelor’s degrees in both Biology and Nursing, and was a Labor & Delivery and OB/Gyn nurse. I also have a Master’s degree in Nursing as a former Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, where I worked in the STD clinic at a Crisis Pregnancy Center. I have been married for almost 30 years to my best friend, and together we have 4 amazing daughters. I am EMDR Trained, and I use many modalities in my work - CBT, DBT, Existential, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, Psychoanalytic, Family Systems Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.

I want to help you live the life you were created to live - a meaningful life free from feelings of guilt, shame, worthlessness, depression, anxiety, and worry. I want you to live FREE! Thank you for taking this first step in the beginning of your healing journey.

I’d be honored to walk beside you and cheer you on along the way!
