Hello! I’m Nancy Isch, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Allison Cornell, LPC-S, with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LeTourneau University. I am honored to walk alongside you in your journey to overcome difficulties and reach your goals. Everyone meets life’s challenges in unique ways, but you don’t have to meet them alone. I believe counseling is an opportunity for you to connect with me as a human being and learn skills and strategies that will enable you to enjoy each day more. My aim is to create a compassionate and supportive environment in each counseling session where healing and growth are possible.
I have experience working with individual adults, teens ages 16 and up, and couples as they navigate through the twists and turns of life. Whether that means dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, reconciling relationships, or any other hardships, I am passionate about helping you achieve any goals you have for your counseling journey.
Furthermore, as a former doula and childbirth educator, I have specific experience and a heart for supporting perinatal women and couples through the emotional complexities surrounding pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood.
As a counselor, I utilize a unique blend of cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), mindfulness, existential therapy, and a person-centered approach to help you succeed. With an individually tailored style, I avoid cookie-cutter solutions and creatively provide you with the best therapeutic tools for you.

I'm Izabella, and I'm here to support you through life's challenges with wisdom, expertise, and genuine care. As a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate completing my Master's at The King's University (graduating May 2026), I work under direct supervision of Allison Cornell, LPC-S, to provide quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families and groups.
My path to therapy wasn't traditional—I spent several years working as an engineer in quality management before pursuing my true calling in mental health. This experience taught me to approach problems systematically and rely on evidence-based solutions, skills I now use to help you navigate complex emotional and relational challenges.
As a wife, mother and professional, I've witnessed firsthand the pressures and transitions our generation experiences. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, or major life changes, I understand the unique context of living and thriving today. Being bilingual in English, Portuguese (and intermediate Spanish) allows me to work with diverse families and appreciate how cultural backgrounds shape our relationships and healing processes.
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and designed around your specific needs. Using systemic family therapy and trauma-informed care, we'll work together to identify patterns that may be holding you back, strengthen your relationships, and build practical coping skills you can rely on long after our sessions end. I believe you are the expert on your own life—my role is to provide guidance, tools, and a safe space for growth.
Taking the first step toward therapy requires incredible courage, and I'm deeply honored when someone chooses to trust me with their story. My commitment to you is simple: to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your concerns openly and work toward lasting, meaningful change. Together, we'll find your best path forward.

My name is Sammantha, but most people call me Sam. I am a student intern supervised by Allison Cornell, LPC-S, completing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Military Families through Abilene Christian University. With all coursework completed, I am currently finishing my clinical internship and I am expected to graduate this summer. Growing up in a military family gives me both educational and personal insight into the unique stressors of military life.
Throughout my internship and previous work experience, I have supported a wide range of clients, including children ages six and up, teens, adults, neurodivergent individuals, and families. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, identity concerns, and parenting challenges.
A significant part of my work has been with clients who have experienced trauma. As someone who has walked my own healing path, I approach therapy with deep empathy and respect. I primarily draw from Narrative Therapy, which helps clients view their problems as separate from themselves and reclaim authorship of their own stories. As a writer, this approach resonates with me because it empowers clients to reshape the narrative of their lives in meaningful ways.
While Narrative Therapy is my foundation, I also integrate Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This allows us to tailor the work to your needs, because therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I offer couples therapy as well.
Reaching out for help is an incredibly brave step. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you navigate your healing journey.

Hi, I’m Emma Leach, a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at Liberty University, completing my clinical training at Firefly Counseling & Consulting under the supervision of Allison Cornell, LPC-S.
Before entering the counseling field, I worked as an Assistance Dog Trainer, partnering with veterans with disabilities and children with autism. In that role, I had the privilege of supporting individuals as they worked toward greater independence, confidence, and connection. Following a major life transition and overseas military assignment, I felt called to continue that work in a new way—through counseling.
I am passionate about creating a collaborative, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. I approach therapy with a servant’s heart and a deep respect for each person’s story.
My clinical approach is primarily person-centered and integrates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and somatic-based approaches to support whole-person healing.
I look forward to walking alongside you as you move toward the freedom and quality of life you deserve.
